WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 live results: Drew Mclntyre vs Bobby Lashley, Bianca Belair vs Bayley and more

WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 is inarguably one of the biggest PPV’s of the year. This will also be the final PPV to be aired from WWE Thunderdome. This PPV will be featuring several Championship matches, with two matches inside the Hell in a Cell.

Drew Mclntyre will also be getting a final chance to win the WWE Championship from Bobby Lashley. Both the defending Champions, Lashley and Bianca Belair will be entering the HIAC, for the first time in their careers.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 live results: Alexa Bliss vs Shayna Baszler

Bliss calm walk forward installed hesitation in Baszler’s mind until Reginald caused distraction at ringside, allowing the latter to get started with the offense with some strikes. Bliss looked scary with her showcase of emotions, which were sometimes anger and happiness on other occasions. Baszler, however, continued to attack with kicks, punches and joint locks. During a wristlock, Bliss yelled at Baszler to look at her forcing Baszler to release the hold once she had. This allowed Bliss to unleash a flurry of strikes followed by a DDT for a near fall. Bliss then stared down Nia Jax at ringside, forcing Jax to mirror her movements and slap Reginald with her magic. Bliss then got her victory with a Sister Abigail and a Twisted Bliss. WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 live results: Bianca Belair vs Bayley for the Smackdown Women’s Championship

Bayley, in her attempt to start the attack early, tried to hit Belair with a chair but missed on her first swing, allowing the latter to get a few quick near falls. Bayley grabbed the chair again and drove Belair’s shoulder into the ring post. Bayley kept the attack focused on the arm before binging the steel steps into the ring. Bayley prevented Belair from gaining the upperhand by biting the champion on the arm. Belair was finally on the move when she made Bayley pay for suspending a pair of double kendo sticks between the ring and Cell, hitting a spinebuster to drive Bayley through the sticks.

Bayley came back by tying Belair’s hair to a steel chair and sat on it. Bayley eventually was pulled forward into that same chair before Belair tied her hair around Bayley’s wrist and dragged her around the Cell, applied some kendo kicks, and whipped Bayley into the Cell walls. Bayley begged the referee to let her out of the cell to no effect while Belair looked on while laughing. Bayley got a ladder into the ring and used it to sandwich Belair and hit a Rose Plant. Bayley’s ladder move led to her own downfall as Belair took back over and hit a running senton on Bayley on top of the ladder and then hit the Kiss of Death on the open ladder for the pinfall. Bianca Belair def. Bianca Belair is battling inside the Hell in a Cell for the first time in her career. On the other hand, Bayley has been inside once, last year, where she lost her title to Sasha Banks.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 live results: Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship

Flair attacked Ripley before the match could begin and then hit a big boot after the opening bell. Flair kept Ripley on the backfoot, dominating the early action while taunting the champion. Ripley’s comeback saw her hitting a big dropkick from the top rope before locking in a high-angle Texas cloverleaf. But Flair quickly launched her into the turnbuckle. Flair followed up with Natural Selection and an attempt to use the middle rope for an advantage on the pin. The Queen went for a moonsault from the top rope but landed on her feet and adjusted to a standing moonsault after Ripley’s wise attempt to roll out of the way.

Ripley, who now had an injured leg from the focused attack of Flair, managed to hit a superplex as the momentum continued to swing the champion’s way. Flair went for an attack in the corner but Ripley moved out of the way this time to good effect. She, then hit a Riptide but too close to the ropes, allowing Flair to get her foot on the bottom rope. Flair went back to work on Ripley’s leg before locking in a Figure-Eight. Ripley managed to pull herself through the bottom rope to the floor for an escape. Ripley then pulled off the top of the commentary table and hit Flair with it which resulted in a disqualification. However, Ripley retains the title. Ripley continued the attack after the bell and grounded Flair with another riptide before leaving the ring. Charlotte Flair def. Rhea Ripley via disqualification.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 live results: Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens

Owens tried to gain momentum by taking the fight to Zayn, but the latter used a few underhanded tactics to get rolling offensively. He failed to suplex Owens, which allowed Kevin to reverse before a cannonball in the corner for a two count. After attacking Owens’ arm and driving his throat which was still affected by the Nigerian Nail of Commander Azeez, into the ropes, Zayn took control of the match hitting a big flipping dive over the top rope onto Owens on the outside. As the ref was checking on Owens’ arm, Zayn ran forward with a boot. Owens fought back with a clothesline on the outside and tried a swanton from the ring apron. Zayn was quick to get his knees up and followed up with a blue thunder bomb back in the ring for a near fall.

Owens fought back with one arm before Zayn delivered a big exploder suplex to counter a stunner from Kevin, for another near fall. As the action went to the outside, Owens hit a stunner but Zayn somehow managed to beat the 10-count to stay alive. With Zayn bleeding from the mouth, the two exchanged punches and headbutts from their knees. Zayn hit a knee to the back of Owens, sending his former friend throat-first into the bottom rope. Zayn took the opportunity to hit a Helluva Kick for the win. Sami Zayn def. Kevin Owens via pinfall.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 live results: Cesaro vs Seth Rollins

Rollins wasted no time and started his assault on Cesaro during his entrance, but the Swiss cyborg still gained the upperhand as soon as the match started, hitting a bodyslam and a big back body drop before hitting a boot to send Rollins to the floor. Rollins used a thumb to the eye to put Cesaro on the backfoot and open him up for a DDT. Cesaro countered with a deadlift suplex but Rollins fought dumping Cesaro to the outside with a backdrop and a springboard knee for a two count. Cesaro on coming back, removed Rollins’ glove and shoved it in Rollins’ mouth before re-sarting with the strikes.

Rollins applied a falcon arrow for a two count and hit a kick to the back of Cesaro’s head, but the Swiss kicked out. Cesaro came back quickly to the front foot with a big Cesaro Swing before locking in the sharpshooter. As Rollins reached for the ropes to break the hold, Cesaro mixed things up to a crossface before transitioning back to the sharpshooter after Rollins’ attempt to reverse into a pinfall. Cesaro stomped on Rollins’ arm preventing him to reach the ring. despite Cesaro controlling huge portions of the match, Rollins was able to roll him up for the win.  Seth Rollins def. WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 live results: Bobby Lashley vs Drew Mclntyre for the WWE Championship

Lashley, with the ring of the bell, dove from the ring to attempt something from under the ring but McIntyre countered to drive Lashley’s face into the Cell before slamming him into the wall. Lashley fought back, using the ring steps but McIntyre lifted him up for a suplex and launched him into the Cell wall. McIntyre was ruthless early on grabbing the ring steps and twice ramming them into Lashley’s head. The two big men continued to attack each other outside the ring, with Lashley being spotted with a cut on his arm. As McIntyre set up a table, MVP slid his cane through the Cell which allowed Lashley to get the upper hand. The champion rammed Drew into the cage and the ring post several times before McIntyre came back with his own version of Sheamus’ White Noise on the ring steps.

McIntyre continued to dominate before grabbing several chairs and throwing them into the ring. The challenger delivered a face-first slam to Lashley onto one of them. Lashley nearly locked in the Hurt Lock, but McIntyre countered and hit a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall. Lashley, using the ring steps, came back to ram McIntyre into the Cell wall over and over before MVP helped trap McIntyre in the corner by sliding a kendo stick through the chain link. Lashley got McIntyre back into the ring and drove McIntyre into a chair, which the former had set up, with a pair of flatliners. A series of kendo kicks followed by Lashley until McIntyre trapped it with his arm. McIntyre used a chair before being shoved into the referee, who found himself out of the squared circle.

McIntyre then applied a Future Shock DDT but no one was there to make the count. McIntyre demanded a new referee enter the Cell before flooring Lashley out with a Claymore. MVP pulled the ref from the ring to save Lahley fall prey to the count. MVP then found himself locked inside the Cell and this time it was him who was on the receiving end of the Claymore. McIntyre was distracted enough and Lashley locked in the Hurt Lock outside the ring. McIntyre smartly launched himself backward through a table to break the hold. Upon getting back into the ring, McIntyre wasted no time in launching his third Claymore after using a steel chair to attack Lashley but the champion was able to move out of the way and send McIntyre through a table at ringside with a chokeslam. McIntyre countered a spear from Lashley and hit another Future Shock and went for a fourth Claymore. But MVP grabbed his leg to set up Lashley for a roll-up to steal the win.  Bobby Lashley def. Drew McIntyre via pinfall to retain the title.

This was Lashley’s first appearance inside Hell in a Cell. Despite the challenger Drew Mclntyre dominating long stretches of the match, Lashley escaped with a win with help from MVP.
