“I can’t wait any longer,” Rey Mysterio is prepared for his match at WWE Hell in a Cell 2021

WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 is still a couple of days, but one-half of the Smackdown Tag Team Champions, Rey Mysterio cannot wait to get inside the unforgiving steel structure. The Ultimate Underdog will be facing The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, inside the Hell in a Cell.
The rivalry between Reigns and Mysterio began just a couple of weeks back when Reigns attacked Rey’s son and Tag Team partner, Dominik. The Mysterios were facing The Usos for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship, when Reigns interrupted the match and brutally attacked Dominik.
Rey Mysterio, the father, was seeking revenge for what his son went through, when he challenged Roman Reigns for a match inside the WWE Hell in a Cell. Mysterio tried to attack Reigns with a kendo stick too, but the Tribal Chief was able to fight him off.
Paul Heyman, the special counsel to the Tribal Chief, accepted Mysterio’s challenge on Reigns’ behalf during an episode of Talking Smack. Rey Mysterio recently put out a tweet stating that he cannot wait for the WWE Hell in a Cell 2021.
Mysterio mentioned that he wants the match “tomorrow night” which refers to Friday Night Smackdown. This could be a subtle hint that Mysterio has something planned for Reigns on the upcoming episode of Smackdown. We might finally see Mysterio successfully attacking the Universal Champion before the PPV.
WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 will be Rey Mysterio’s first appearance inside the structure
When Roman Reigns will be entering the WWE Hell in a Cell 2021, he will making his fifth appearance inside the dreaded steel structure. From the current roster, only Randy Orton has more experience than Reigns of battling inside the Hell in a Cell.
While Reigns will be entering with humongous experience, Rey Mysterio, surprisingly, will be making his debut inside the Hell in a Cell. In a wrestling career that spans over 3 decades, it is shocking to know that Mysterio has never battled inside the Hell in a Cell.
But Rey should be confident going into the match, despite the visible size difference between the two wrestlers. Mysterio has made a career out of overcoming opponents who are almost twice his size.
WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 airs live on 20th June, 2021.
