Becky Lynch, Paige and many more react against controversial ruling
The 1973 Roe v Wade case is considered as a landmark in the history of the United States and in the history of the world also. According to the Roe v Wade decision of the landmark case it granted women all over the country a right to terminate pregnancy. The decision is considered as a milestone for women everywhere as it inspired a new age of reproductive freedom in many countries around the world. In its ruling in 1973, the court documented for the first time that the constitutional right to privacy “is broad enough to encompass a woman’s decision whether or not to terminate her pregnancy”
After almost 50 years since the law for the welfare of women was brought into existence after the Roe v Wade case, in 2022 it was over turned by the American Supreme Court. The Court in its latest ruling decided that the right to abortion will no longer be a constitutional right. The over turning of the decision gave several states all across the country permission to ban or strictly restrict abortion. The decision of the American Supreme court will see abortion being banned in 26 out of the 50 states in the country which will make abortion illegal in the south and Midwest of America.

Becky Lynch and many other top women have reacted to the decision of the Supreme Court
Soon after the Roe V Wade decision was released the supporters of the constitutional from all over the country right came out to protest against he the controversial ruling. The controversial ruling has been seen as a injustice to women all around the world and has garnered reactions from powerful women in the USA as well as out side of the country. Working women in the United States also voiced there disappointment towards the decision as many WWE superstars including Becky Lynch were seen tweeting against the ruling.
Jacinda Ardern said the decision was “a loss for women everywhere”. “Watching the removal of a woman’s fundamental right to make decisions over their own body is incredibly upsetting,” said the New Zealand Prime Minister in a statement.
Becky Lynch who has been an integral part of women’s revoultion in WWE also reacted to the news. Several WWE superstars also voiced there opinions about the unjust ruling, Becky Lynch, Bayley, Kayla Braxton, Renee Paquette, Paige, and The IIconics: Cassie Lee (fka Peyton Royce) and Jessica McKay (fka Billie Kay) have all reacted to the news on twitter :
Ending the right to abortion will have major consequences not only in the United States but also all over the World. With WWE superstar such as Becky Lynch and Paige reacting more might comment on the issue soon.
