Week after week, Rhea Ripley has been asserting her dominance as she continues to prove her worth as “The Eradicator” of The Judgement Day. Ripley recently crossed paths with the former Women’s Champion Becky Lynch during a fierce stare down at Monday Night RAW after Lynch was leaving the ring following a confrontation with Damage CTRL’s leader Bayley.
The two continuously stared down at each other and even exchanged a few words to each other, which were inaudible on live TV. A referee came out to ensure that no brawl breaks out between them. Thankfully, the two decided to keep it calm while the environment became highly intense. The two went their own ways after teasing a potential feud in the near future.
While both Lynch and Ripley may not be on the same side in the ring, “The Man” in a latest interview with Verge, heaped praise on Rhea Ripley. “I think Rhea is one of the greatest female athletes that we’ve ever seen,” Lynch said. “I think she’s incredible. She is so young, so full of potential. I look at her and I go, ‘Well, that’s the future of the business and the business is in good hands.’ She’s the future but I’m still the present. There can only be one Man around the place.”
It is clear from Lynch’s statements that she is all up for a feud between her and Ripley. Both the stars had recently squared off against each other in the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series where Lynch’s side emerged victorious. The fans also went into a frenzy after the stare down at Raw and requested Triple H to book a feud between the two.

Becky Lynch says she will put Rhea Ripley in her place when the time comes
Though Lynch showered praises on Ripley and called her the future of the company, the last line from the above excerpt is worth noting that Becky Lynch still believes that there can only be one “Man” around the place. The following remark comes after Rhea Ripley has been constantly dominating the roster through her mind games and sheer physicality as she also manhandled many men of the roster.
Thus there have been obvious comparisons between the two as Lynch has been synonymously named as “The Man” due to her in-ring abilities. But Becky Lynch believes that she’ll put Rhea Ripley in her place if the two collide in the future. She pointed out that while there’s no denying that Ripley is the future of the company but Lynch still remains to be the present.

“The Man” further commented on Rhea’s association with Finn Balor, who shares a special connection with Lynch as well as he was one of the wrestlers who helped Lynch train at the beginning of her career. Lynch said that it’ll be interesting to see on whose side will Finn stand when two of his protégés will collide against each other.
