“HOW did he win it?” Bray Wyatt questions Roman Reigns’ record-setting World Title reign

Roman Reigns has been surpassing records and surmounting his name along with legends in his historic title reign. As a result, WWE on BT Sport released a list of all of Roman Reigns’ title defenses. Thus, they posted a picture on Twitter following the Elimination Chamber. The list includes the names of every superstar The Tribal Chief has faced since capturing the title in 2020. However, WWE superstar Bray Wyatt replied to the tweet and had something interesting to say.

Roman Reigns has dominated the entire roster for the last three years. He wrecked every single superstar who came his way. Therefore, WWE on BT Sport posted the picture on all their social media handles with the caption “Acknowledge this incredible run by @WWERomanReigns ☝️.” However, it seems like there’s somebody on the roster who hasn’t acknowledged the Tribal Chief yet. Bray Wyatt replied to the tweet and said, “Yeah but HOW did he win it?” Thus, the leader of darkness seemed skeptical of the way Roman won during all his title defenses.

Roman Reigns, who was away from WWE for a long time during the Thunderdome era, made his comeback at SummerSlam 2020. He returned and attacked The Fiend ‘Bray Wyatt’ and Braun Strowman after their match, shocking the world. Wyatt was the WWE Universal Champion back then. However, Reigns took the Universal Championship from Wyatt in the subsequent premium live event at Payback 2020. Ever since then, Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns haven’t crossed paths. However, the recent tweet by Wyatt seems to indicate that the leader of darkness still holds grudges against the Tribal Chief.

During his 900+ day title reign, Reigns faced nearly half of the roster’s superstars. Therefore, The Eater of Worlds seemed pessimistic about the way Roman won during all his title defenses. Following the tweet by Wyatt, it can be speculated that he sarcastically referred to the heel tactics used by the Tribal Chief most of the time during his matches to retain the gold. However, that’s an inevitable part of the heel gimmick that he has been carrying.

There has been history between Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt in the past. Besides, it’s noteworthy to mention that Wyatt has not had an opportunity for the WWE title since losing it. The two top superstars of the company are on the same brand. Thus, it will be interesting to see when the two of them cross paths and Wyatt gets an opportunity to seek vengeance.

Bray Wyatt’s WrestleMania 39 plans

The storyline of Bray Wyatt has been very ambiguous and obscure for the last few weeks. His creepy promos on SmackDown added to the ambiguity. There were rumors circulating a few weeks ago that he would face Uncle Howdy at WrestleMania 39. Moreover, it looked inevitable following his segments with Uncle Howdy. However, the storyline changed its course. In the last week of SmackDown, Wyatt said that he was coming after the winner of the Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley match.

Therefore, it looks like one of them would be on Bray Wyatt’s radar for the Showcase of the Immortals. However, there are various mysteries in the storyline of Wyat that the fans have yet to discover. Moreover, the character of Bray Wyatt is an enigma to the fans. As a result, the WWE Universe is looking forward to the upcoming episodes of Raw and SmackDown to find out the answers to their questions.
