Brock Lesnar’s Return was kept to Make Bobby Lashley look Stronger Ahead of The Crown Jewel

All the rumours came true as Brock Lesnar returned to Monday Night RAW’s Season Premiere at Brooklyn, NY. And this time The Beast has targeted none other than Bobby Lashley.
Bobby was all set to face Seth Rollins for the United States Championship but before he could begin the match, Lesnar would surprisingly return and confront Bobby Lashley.

Brock Lesnar returned on Monday Night RAW to thrash Bobby Lashley
Lesnar went on to completely thrash out Lashley before developing consistent F-5s and then putting in the dangerous Kimura lock. This was enough to send a message to him that Lesnar was indeed back and was eyeing Lashley as his next opponent.
After this devastating attack many would have thought that Lashley would not be able to continue but the Almighty decided to portray an example of a perfect champion and fought Seth Rollins even after that.
Though, Lashley lost the match, it was enough to show his willpower and strength that even after being inflicted with such damage he continued to fight. Bobby Lashley had the United States title for over 100 days and successfully defended it on various occasions.
Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio noted that Brock Lesnar is probably going to face Lashley at Crown Jewel and thus WWE wants to portray Lashley as a strong candidate for Brock , so that if Brock beats him at The Crown Jewel it doesn’t look an one sided affair.
While making the observation Meltzer said- “They’re probably going to be wrestling at [Crown Jewel]. [Brock Lesnar] comes back for Saudi Arabia, so it made sense. The story there is that the first match they had, Bobby Lashley won–even though there was a lot of interference.”
Thus, Meltzer feels that it would be perfect for Lesnar to get the win from here and would set up Lashley as the perfect opponent for him. He mentioned that this time Lesnar would not be fighting for a Championship because Lashley isn’t the United States Champion anymore but Seth Rollins is.
He further said- “It looks like Logan Paul and Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley as maybe the top two matches on [Crown Jewel].” Now it needs to be seen when WWE officially announces the match and what these both have in store for the fans as both are an absolute powerhouse and have been in the business for a long time.
