The WrestleMania season is usually filled with WWE legends returning to be a part of the Showcase of the Immortals. Amidst the festivities, one of these returns is almost confirmed as Mick Foley discloses his status for the event.
On the latest episode of Foley is Pod, the Hardcore legend dropped the exact date of his return to WWE. Although he is not available for the Show of Shows itself, the Hall of Famer might be available for the day before it. Talking about WrestleMania week, Mick Foley said, “On Friday night, I may be a part of WWE programming. Just putting it out there. Sunday, I won’t be in attendance. I might watch it at the hotel. I might catch a flight.”
Earlier this month, Mick Foley had come into the spotlight when he gave hilarious advice to Finn Balor for his Hell in a Cell match. This Twitter exchange had some fans hoping for a return from the King of Hardcore. However, now the man himself has put all those rumors to rest with these recent remarks.
WWE is also organizing this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday, March 31st. Hence, Mick Foley returning to be part of a night full of legends makes much sense. The company is reportedly planning this year’s event to be a brief one, with a shorter class getting inducted as compared to previous years. Currently, three names are announced for the WWE Hall of Fame, Class of 2023. These include Rey Mysterio, The Great Muta, and Andy Kaufman.

Mick Foley gives his thought about the Bloodline story
The Bloodline’s story has proven to be one of the greatest in the history of the company. Over the last few months, many legends have also chimed in with their opinions on how it will all unfold at WrestleMania. During the same podcast, Mick Foley discussed the recent events and his thoughts on how this story will end at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
The WWE legend said, “I think based on what I saw, the chess pieces with The Usos and Sami, Sami is gonna be solid there. It might not be exactly what people want, but he’s one of those guys who’s proven that he can, I call him the gift that keeps on giving. He’s going to continue to give and I have to believe there’s going to be a Sami Zayn title run eventually.”
Talking about the main event of WrestleMania 39, Mick Foley believes that The American Nightmare will prevail and send fans home happy. The former World Champion even said he would be “real disappointed” if he doesn’t see a title change there. Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns and the Undisputed Tag Team Championship match are two of the most anticipated matches for WrestleMania this year.
