“They actually would do vignettes of Mr. Fuji having him eat raw fish and he couldn’t speak English. I walked up [to Sika] with a pen and a paper and I was like, ‘Please….sign. Sign name. You…sign name with the pen. He looked at me. He goes ‘F*ck off, kid,’ and I didn’t care that he told me to F off, all I cared was like ‘He speaks English! Did anybody else hear that?”

Chris Jericho left WWE in 2018 and explained that his match at WrestleMania 2017 was the reason for his departure. Jericho didn’t like the fact that his match against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania was placed at number two by Vince McMahon. The decision by Vince, made Chris realize his importance to the company, and he decided to leave the company.

Jericho has since then joined AEW, where he became the inaugural AEW World Champion. Jericho lost the title to Jon Moxley after holding it for 182 days. He was one of the first wrestlers to join the promotion.

In March of this year, ROH was brought by Tony Khan from the Sinclair Broadcast Group. Khan purchased Brand assets, video library, and intellectual property too. The first event after Khan’s ownership took place on July 23. The event was called the Death before Dishonor event.

At the event, Claudio Castagnoli won the ROH World Championship. Castognoli held the championship for two months before being defeated by Chris Jericho at the AEW Grand Slam event on September 21. As of now, Jericho is still the ROH World Champion.
