Cody Rhodes slammed the door shut on Roman Reigns‘ historic 1316-day title reign at WrestleMania XL. An unprecedented closing stretch backed by numerous run-ins, viz., John Cena and The Undertaker, saw The American Nightmare finish his story. And now, he’s teasing the introduction of a brand-new title design to usher in what Cody calls the Renaissance Era.
Taking it to X, the 38-year-old posted a picture of the current version of the Undisputed WWE Universal title resting beside the winged-eagle replica of the same. Could that mean it’s coming back? Well, it very well might be, as Cody Rhodes recently claimed that he’d repeal the incumbent design of the strap that Roman Reigns held for so long. Who knows if that’s the first thing Rhodes does when he heads out in front of a sold-out crowd on Raw tonight?

With WWE Backlash slated for May 8, The Prodigal Son may have his inaugural challenger set up sooner than later. Turning a bit back to last night in Philadelphia, it was the culmination of an era in WWE. Reigns, equivocally the greatest champion of the modern era, was doomed. Not even his own Bloodline could deny a resilient Rhodes his destiny, who, of course, was aided by a couple of legends.

However, many believe the final nail in the coffin was Seth Rollins playing the “shield” for the former AEW EVP. He made Roman choose revenge over downing Cody. A poetic callback to The Shield’s betrayal did the trick. Reigns decided to even up that chair shot from nearly a decade ago on Rollins. And as the latter obliged Dusty’s son, he was pivotal in quashing The Head of the Table’s hegemony.
Logan Paul got emotional over Cody Rhodes’ historic win at WrestleMania XL
That ending to WrestleMania Sunday made everyone shed a tear, to say the least. So much so that a brash like Logan Paul couldn’t help but frolic like a teenager.

He recently uploaded a 55-second clip on his X account reacting to Rhodes vs. Reigns II. At first, he lost it when John Cena came out and wiped Solo Sikoa off the equation.
Paul was blatantly tense once The Rock interrupted the proceedings. And just when he was about to whip Cody Rhodes through his weight belt, The Undertaker’s gong blew Logan’s head off, just like the entire stadium.
At last, the United States Champion got emotional over The Undeniable One’s pioneering triumph over The Bloodline’s supremo. The Maverick claimed it’s really a new era in WWE.
