Rey Mysterio gave an emotional speech after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, class of 2023. However, The Judgment Day members, including Rey's son Dominik Mysterio, didn't seem interested as they walked away from the stage in the middle of the speech.

WrestleMania 39 weekend has officially kicked off as fans await the biggest event of the year. Before the Show of Shows, WWE presented the Hall of Fame ceremony for 2023 the night before. The ceremony witnessed some wrestling greats presenting their speeches for the fans while being honored. The Hall of Fame class of 2023 was headlined by the Legendary Luchador, Rey Mysterio. However, the father-son feud, i.e., Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio, persisted during such a great moment as well.

After all the other Hall of Fame inductees finished their speeches, it was time for Rey Mysterio to get his well-deserved honor. The Master of the 619 got inducted into the Hall of Fame class of 2023 by his long-term friend and wrestling legend, Konnan. Rey began his speech by thanking Konnan for a pleasant introduction.

Meanwhile, his son Dominik Mysterio and his Judgment Day partners, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, who were sitting at the stage, eventually walked away before the speech could even start. The disrespect shown by Hard-Prison Dom towards his father wasn’t well received by the fans in attendance, as they booed him out of the building.

The crowd went completely hostile, as they were absolutely dissatisfied with Dom’s ridiculous tactic. Nonetheless, Rey, being the wise man, responded candidly as he endured the speech, saying, “Let me just say this, I’ll take care of business tomorrow”. The crowd erupted in a loud pop, as they couldn’t wait for Rey to teach some respect to his disgraceful son.

Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio is a type of feud that wrestling fans rarely witness. At least in the history of WWE, fans never saw a father-son rivalry culminating in a wrestling match. That too at WrestleMania.

Meanwhile, the long-term story has managed to captivate the WWE Universe for months. Ever since Dom betrayed his father last year, fans have been speculating about the payoff to take place on the Grandest Stage.

While the feud is extremely personal, the winner is also hard to predict. On one hand, Rey kicking Dom’s arse would be a satisfying conclusion. whereas Dominik needs a big win on the biggest stage to be elevated as a future star. Regardless of the conclusion, the match promises to be a thrilling encounter.
