WrestleMania 39 is just a few days away now, and most of the storylines are nearing their conclusion. One such great story heading into the Show of Shows is Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio. The father-son rivalry is one of the best-built feuds since last year under the creative regime of Triple H. Last week on SmackDown, the feud reached the boiling point when Rey finally laid hands on his disgraceful son after months of instigation.
This Monday, on the go-home Raw for WrestleMania, Rey Mysterio was set to square off against Damian Priest. Priest was accompanied by his Judgment Day partner, Dominik Mysterio. Prior to Rey’s entrance, Hard-Prison Dom addressed getting punched by Rey last week, ironically asking, How could a man hit his own son on the face?
He even went one step ahead and said, “Dad, I’ve never said this out loud, but I wish Eddie was my father and you never existed.” Moments later, The Master of the 619 made his entrance for his match against Priest. During the match, Mysterio managed to hit the 619. However, just when he was about to go for a frog splash he was taken down from the top rope by Dominik.
This forced the referee to call off the match without any result. Following the match, ex-Con Dom initiated a two-on-one attack on his father along with Damian Priest. Nonetheless, Legado-Del-Fantasma eventually made their way to the ring to save the day for Rey. The segment ended with Dom and Priest retreating, as they were two down in the numbers game.

What could be the rightful conclusion for Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio?
Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio is probably the best father-son story ever told in WWE history. The reaction of fans when Dom got punched by Rey for disrespecting his mother was priceless. WWE Universe must be hoping for Rey to give his son a beating and teach him respect at WrestleMania.
However, Dominik, on the other hand, has shown great improvement in his abilities since last year. His work during the father-son feud has been massively praised, and many believe he needs the big win at WrestleMania over his father, since he is a young hot prospect.
Regardless of the result, the match promises to be filled with a lot of drama along with some high-flying maneuvers. There are no stipulations announced for the match as of now. Nonetheless, the bout will potentially be eventful even without the stipulations.
