Hulk Hogan is one of those superstars who initiated the global phenomenon of pro wrestling. Hogan is one of the biggest superstars in WWE and has been with the company since its inception. So, the way he looks at this business is slightly different from the other stars who joined in late.
While speaking on the Full Send Podcast, the Hall of Famer spoke about his wrestling journey and WWE’s secrets. Hogan stated that even if it is predetermined, the result of the match matters, as the process is distinguished upon the result. He explained those processes by stating “hard work” as work and “profitable work” as shoot.
Hulk Hogan elaborated by giving an example, saying that if he wrestles his opponent and he earns twice as much money as him, he considers it as “shoot.” It is a term used to describe the moments when wrestlers go off-script. Hogan believes that money-making eventually depends on one’s win or loss record.
The Hulkster stated that “It is not work” for him if he’s getting paid more. He summarized the scenario while saying, “It’s about the money and the mileage.” According to the Hall of Famer, the wins that one gets, and the titles that one wins make up his or her mileage in the company and result in profits.
Moreover, Mr. America stated the scenario, giving an example of the times when he wrestled Bob Backlund. He said that he did actual work as he was starting his career. But later, after putting in much work, he achieved the “shoot” position in his career.

Roman Reigns has been the face of the company for a long time. With his “Tribal Chief” gimmick, he has dominated the entire roster. Reigns recently completed 1000 days of his historic reign as Universal Champion. The Tribal Chief made his name in WWE’s history books as an absolute icon.
Another icon of WWE, Hulk Hogan, lauded Roman Reigns’ performance and stated that his work ethic had rejuvenated the art form. He believes that the Head of the Table has continued the legacy of pro wrestling in the most classical way. Hulk states that Roman’s performance is like that of an artist who keeps his moves natural.
The Hall of Famer said that Reigns took the game back to its original roots, where the stars were big and had big moves.
