John Cena is a name that transcends all boundaries in sports and entertainment. Whether you are a pro wrestling fan, a Hollywood buff, or a video gaming geek, the Cenation Leader has something in store for everyone. For the past week, rumors and leaks have been floating around for the WWE 2K23 video game. Taking advantage of this internet buzz, 2K has released the official teaser and cover for their recent installment of WWE games.
The teaser for the game was posted on 2K’s and WWE’s official social media platforms. The teaser has a comical play on John Cena’s catchphrase, “You can’t see me” as the WWE superstar seems to be invisible throughout the teaser. Earlier, Cena had also teased the launch in one of his many cryptic Instagram posts in a similar manner. However, the Champ took to Twitter to share his true feelings about the game and its exciting “career mode.” The ‘Peacemaker’ star tweeted, “Honored to be on the cover of @WWE @WWEgame #WWE2K23 for the second time! The new game certainly brings a new meaning to “career mode.” Excited for every player to take this journey!”
This is not the first time that Cena has been the cover star of any WWE game. The WWE 2K23 Face was also the face of Raw vs SmackDown games, getting featured in multiple covers of that franchise. However, it was WWE 2K15 that had John Cena as the sole cover star. WWE 2K23 is available for pre-order with the Deluxe and Icon editions. The game will officially be released on March 17th, 2023.

What are the WrestleMania plans for John Cena?
John Cena recently made his return to the WWE ring, competing in the last SmackDown of 2022. He teamed up with Kevin Owens to defeat the team of Sami Zayn and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. This continued the 16-time world champion’s streak of wrestling every year since his debut in 2002. However, his streak of competing in WrestleMania ended in 2021.
The Champ has missed two WrestleManias in a row, and the fans are clamoring for his return to the Grandest Stage of Them All. And if the rumors are to be believed, the fans might get their dreams fulfilled. In his ever-cryptic Instagram account, Cena recently posted a photo of the Paul brothers, with Logan Paul holding the WWE championship title. This seems like an indication that one of the biggest names in WWE might meet one of the biggest names on the Internet at the Showcase of the Immortals.
In the WWE 2K23 teaser, the fans also saw Logan Paul and Austin Theory appear alongside the multi-time WWE champion. It is a season of returns and debuts as the Royal Rumble event gets closer. There is a possibility that both John Cena and Logan Paul might return at Saturday’s event and the WWE universe gets a clear picture of WrestleMania.
