Here’s what he said: “I thought it was a great Royal Rumble and I’m not gonna lie to you the women’s finish of the women’s Royal Rumble was the best finish I’ve seen in years. Rhea Ripley — the way that match ended was incredible. I was so impressed by it. I have to give the women five stars for that match.”

Many records were broken during the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Rhea Ripley started the match at number one and won the Rumble. Liv Morgan entered at number two and became the runner-up as she came short by a very small margin. Both of them created a new record for surviving for the longest amount of time in a Women’s Royal Rumble match. The finish was tense, with all three women—Asuka, Rhea Ripley, and Liv Morgan—standing on the ring apron in perilous positions.

Asuka tried to spit the blue poison mist in the eyes of Ripley, who dove out of harm’s way, but unfortunately Morgan was on the receiving end of it. In the middle of that chaos, Rhea Ripley took advantage and eliminated Asuka. Although Liv Morgan was blinded by the mist, she tried vigorously to eliminate Rhea Ripley, but came up short and lost the match. Rhea Ripley has declared that she wants to face Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39.

Roman Reigns was scheduled to defend his Undisputed Universal Championship against Kevin Owens at the main event of Royal Rumble 2023. After a tough fight, Roman successfully defended his Championship. The end of the match was very horrifying, as Roman Reigns banged the head of Kevin Owens against the steel steps and hit him with a spear to retain his title.

Post-match, things started to get even worse as the Bloodline handcuffed Kevin Owens to the ropes. They started to beat a defenseless Owens mercilessly. But in the middle of all these people, Sami Zayn felt concerned for his former best friend, Kevin Owens. In the end, Roman Reigns was about to hit Owens with a steel chair, but Sami stopped the Tribal Chief.

He insisted to Roman that the act would not suit him and that he should not go through with it. The turn-in events came when the Head of the Table ordered Sami Zayn to hit Owens with the chair. Sami Zayn made a shot with the chair, but it was at Roman Reigns. By doing this, he chose the ultimate path of betrayal. Fans were aware that this would happen at some point, but they had no idea when it would. Sami immediately faced the consequences at the hands of Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, but another thing that caught the eyes of everyone was Jey Uso leaving the ring silently instead of joining his brothers. Sami Zayn’s epic betrayal closed the Royal Rumble on a high note.
