Well, it’s true, it’s damn true. Kurt Angle plans on marching towards WrestleMania in Los Angeles. For the first time since 2019 after retiring at the Grandest Stage of them all, Angle will be at the Showcase of the Immortals this year. He confirmed the news via his podcast named as The Kurt Angle Show.
It’s pretty dope for the diehard fans of The Olympic Gold Medalist that they’re likely to see Kurt in a non-wrestling capacity very soon. For the unversed, Angle hasn’t completely ruled out an in-ring return just yet. In fact, he’ll more than willing to lace up a pair of boots once again if the money is right. Plus, he’s down for a Tag-Team showdown, rather than a grueling singles bout.
Fair enough for his age, Angle doesn’t wants to risk it all at this juncture of his life. He’s got his own family to spend some quality time with. As far as his WrestleMania plans goes this year, the 54-year old is currently obliged to attend first night of the pop-culture extravaganza in Hollywood. But, based on his urge to watch Cody Rhodes dethrone Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title, he may extend his weekend onto Sunday as well.
“Right now, my flight plans leave Sunday morning. I’ll watch the first half of WrestleMania. I might stay and extend my flight to the next day, but I want to watch Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes because I believe he’s going to win the title.”

Kurt Angle was a part of WWE Raw is XXX last month
Raw turned 30 in January and WWE booked an Anniversary edition to commemorate those three decades. They brought in Kurt Angle too. He came in as a Honorary member of DX in a hilarious segment. After sharing some cool moments together, the legends got interrupted by The Imperium. But, here’s a twist, rather than burying that trio, as it would’ve been the case under previous regime, the segment did wonders for Gunther and his boys.
Triple H, Shawn Michaels and the remaining DX guys put on a class act to make the Imperium look like legit bada**es. Each of DX’s member backtracked from stepping up in front of the Intercontinental Champion, by which they kind of reflected how it’s done. Hunter received widespread praise for beautifully booking that interaction which served the purpose it needed to do.
