LA Knight reveals why WWE Universe started to love him without any strong booking
The former Million Dollar Champion cleared his intentions about winning MITB Briefcase and talked about his match with Montez Ford and the crowd reaction to the match.

LA Knight is one of the most popular superstars in WWE. The fans in attendance chant his name and catchphrase every time he does a move or says anything. Knight spoke about fan support and love in his most recent interview.
Knight made his main roster debut in 2022 as Max Dupri. He portrayed the manager of the Maximum Male Models, who were a comedic pairing of Mace and Mansoor. Max was joined by his on-screen sister, Maxxine Dupri, later on. Eventually, Knight would transform into his old gimmick of LA Knight, which was extremely popular in his NXT days.
The popularity of the gimmick came along to the main roster, as Knight became one of the hottest things on SmackDown. While talking on WWE’s The Bump, Knight talked about his perspective on the love from WWE Universe. He said that his victory in the MITB qualifier match against Montez Ford was not at all surprising for him. Knight had been telling everyone that he would win the match and did the same thing.
The 40-year-old also added that he will rise in the ranks of WWE, irrespective of how the fans treat him. Even if the fans do not cheer for him, he does not care. He promised during the interview that he will win the Money In The Bank ladder match as he is the “X-Factor” out of the six competitors who will participate in the match.
The wrestler said that he does not need “strong booking” or fan support to reach the top. LA Knight believes that already has everything required to win any championship he wishes. He put all the champions on notice, saying that he can challenge anyone once he wins the ladder match.

LA Knight is believed to be the favorite to win the MITB Ladder Match
The Money In The Bank event is scheduled to happen in London, on July 1st, 2023. WWE has been firing on all cylinders to promote the UK show to its full capacity. One of the most awaited matches on the card is the Men’s MITB Ladder match. The winner of this match gets a championship match against the champion of his choosing, at a time of his choosing.
WWE has been hosting MITB qualifier matches on Raw and SmackDown for the past couple of weeks. These matches will determine participants for the Ladder Match. As of now, the participants who have qualified are Richochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, and LA Knight. Three more members will be determined in the upcoming weeks.
However, reports from multiple sources are suggesting that LA Knight is slated to win the match. Knight has been receiving tremendous support from the audience on television as well as social media. Therefore, he will be a favorite to win the MITB Briefcase moving in the event.
