Injuries are not a foreign concept to WWE superstars or any wrestler in that case. Whenever they step foot into the ring, there’s a high risk of injury when they expect the least. One such superstar who has most recently suffered an injury is Luke Gallows of The OC.
The faction’s leader, AJ Styles, locked horns with Finn Balor in the previous episode of SmackDown. During the commentary, Michael Cole revealed that Luke Gallows of The OC was tackling an injury, and that’s why he was unable to accompany Styles’ by the ringside. Ringside News also confirmed this in a recent report.
As the match drew on, Jimmy Uso came out to distract The Phenomenal One. This allowed Balor to take quick advantage and pin AJ Styles by roll-up. Last week, Styles lacked the support of The OC members against The Judgment Day. The Phenomenal One seemed furious and told them not to be at ringside during his match.
Luke Gallows was last seen in a backstage segment of the September 8 edition of SmackDown with AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Michin. The OC members entered into a minor altercation before Styles’ match against Jimmy Uso in the main event. The exact details regarding his injury remain undisclosed.
Luke Gallows’s friend AJ Styles reported to challenge Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel
WWE has inserted AJ Styles into The Bloodline’s storyline for the past two weeks. He battled against Solo Sikoa on the September 8 edition of SmackDown and Jimmy Uso the following week. As per recent reports, Roman Reigns vs. AJ Styles is the current plan for WWE’s upcoming premium live event in Saudi Arabia, Crown Jewel.
According to BWE via Sportskeeda, WWE is planning to extend the storyline involving AJ Styles, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa until November. The AJ Styles vs. The Bloodline feud might ultimately culminate in a title match between Styles and Reigns. The latter will return to the blue brand before the WWE’s premium live event in Saudi Arabia.
The Phenomenal One and the Tribal Chief have collided against each other for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules and Payback in 2016. On both occasions, Reigns came out on top. Ever since the duo hasn’t had a televised match with each other in almost half a decade.
