WWE is once again set to take a trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It will hold Night of Champions in Jeddah that will take place over the weekend. WWE advertised the event as having three main events. Moreover, all the championships will be defended on the spectacular event. This will be the first Saudi visit for WWE after Crown Jewel 2022.

The Saudi events holds great significance for the company as well as the superstars. It witnesses the rise of legends and icons. In 2018, WWE announced signing a multi-year deal with the Ministry of Sports, Saudi Arabia. As a result, it requires them to have two annual events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

With the spectacular event a few days away, fans are on the edge of their seats. Night of Champions will take place on May 27th, 2023. Moreover, the event will take place in the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The timings of the show in different countries are given below:

  • United States – 1:00 pm ET & 10.00 am PT
  • India – 10:30 pm IST
  • United Kingdom – 6:00 pm BST
  • Pakistan – 10:00 PKT
  • Bangladesh – 11:00 pm BDT
  • Australia – 3:00 am AEST (28th May)

The first WWE event to take place under the contract was The Greatest Royal Rumble, which took place in 2018. Besides, the latest event was Crown Jewel, which took place in November 2022. In the main event of the show, Roman Reigns took on Logan Paul in an incredible match.

Over the past few years, the shows in Saudi Arabia have seen some of the most stupendous matches. It saw the rise of legends such as Goldberd and The Undertaker. Moreover, the fans witnessed some dream matches as well. In addition to that, the events have always generated huge revenue for WWE.

Night of Champions has shaped up to be a must-watch for WWE fans. Apart from all the championships being defended, WWE has also announced two high caliber matches. Those two are Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar and Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch. The buildup for both matches has been personal. As a result, all four wrestlers will look to destroy their opponents in the ring.

Natalya and Asuka have challenged Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair for their respective Women’s Championships. On the other hand, Mustafa Ali won the Battle Royal and will battle Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. Besides, Night of Champions will also host the finals for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament.

The biggest match of the night will be the celebration of Roman Reigns’ 1,000 days as the WWE Universal Champion. Reigns will team up with Solo Sikoa to take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.
