Finn Balor aka the Demon Balor had challenged Edge for a match at WrestleMania 39, during the latest episode of WWE RAW. He made this challenge in front of Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio.
Although nothing was confirmed yet, the Twitter post by Xero News cleared the air today. As per the post, the confirmation of the match between Balor and Edge will be announced on RAW soon. It is expected that the match will take place inside a Hell in a Cell and it will take place at WrestleMania.
Previously, both wrestlers were to fight in Hell in a Cell at Royal Rumble, but for some issues, the fight was pushed back. Now with this recent tweet, fans are hyped up for their match.
They have previously competed in an I Quit Match at Extreme Rules 2022. It is also possible that Edge won’t fight Finn Balor but his alter ego, The Demon at WrestleMania 39.
Once the Hell in a Cell match is confirmed, many are in hopes that Finn Balor will summon his Demon persona, which is definitely expected to put on a great show. At Elimination Chamber this year, Beth Phoenix and Edge took on Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley in a mixed Tag Team match, where Balor was pinned by Edge. After months of buildup, their rivalry is supposed to conclude at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Which will be the best match at WrestleMania 39?
Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes is for sure gonna be the most anticipated match. This match would headline Night 2 as WWE usually saves the grand attraction for the second evening.
Another exciting match would be between Logan Paul and Seth Rollins. Paul made an enemy out of Rollins at once, after returning from an injury at Royal Rumble, as he eliminated him from the men’s Rumble match.
This competitive match, like Edge vs. Balor, won’t have any titles on the line, but regardless of the night it’s scheduled for, it definitely has a shot to steal the show. This WrestleMania will be the culmination of their long-building rivalry, which has raised the expectations of the WWE Universe.
