As the road to WrestleMania heats up, WWE isn’t hesitating in making the brand switches without any set barriers. So being said, a face-to-face segment between Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair has already been announced for SmackDown this Friday. This will be the first time they’d meet that close in their current feud. Coming out as a loser from the Elimination Chamber, The Eradicator isn’t upset.

In fact, she views that loss in her past and is adamant to focus what’s there in the future. Charlotte & Ripley have vowed to put each other in their respective places. However, it remains to be seen who ends up getting the worse of that exchange. But wait, Mami’s not travelling alone to Evansville for the show. She’s set to take her ex-con Dom with herself on the way.

During last night’s sit-down interview on WWE Raw, Byron Saxton got to know about what’s in the foreseeable future for the dynamic pairing. Dominik wants to accompany her Mami inorder to take care of his dead-beat Dad Rey Mysterio. The Master of 619 will go one-on-one with Karrion Kross on the show as well. According to reports, Dom will confront Rey to probably set-up their match at WrestleMania this year.

What can be expected between Charlotte Flair & Rhea Ripley on SmackDown?

As mentioned above, neither Flair nor Ripley have been able to meet inches away from each other this year. This doesn’t mean they’re unaware of anything. As known, they had a grueling rivalry over the NXT Women’s Championship back in 2020 which eventually culminated at WrestleMania. Back then, Rhea Ripley was just a young lady who had sky-high aspirations in her eyes. She wanted to elevate the status of that NXT Women’s Strap while defending it on the Grandest Stage.

In doing so, she lost her own glory as Charlotte Flair was just way too superior for the Australian wrestler. The Queen proved her dominance and shot down the unmatured decision maker inside Ripley. However, fast forwarding three years, The Eradicator of The Judgment Day is a much different breed now. She’s operating on a level like never before.

This week on SmackDown, emotions are set to run high when present meets the future. A whole lot of notable wrestling entities already have Rhea Ripley on their radar for being the next female megastar of WWE. Fans should expect some massive explosions when Ripley & Flair stand toe-to-toe in the same ring with just bare centimeters separating them.
