WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley is one of the most complete superstars to ever step foot in the company. The Women’s World Champion is having the best run of her career with The Judgment Day. Recently, in an interview, Ripley named a 34-year-old superstar as the best female wrestler of all time. The superstar in question is none other than Bianca Belair.
As a part of WWE’s Superstar Spectacle, The Eradicator took part in a fun-filled rapid-fire round with Riju Dasgupta of Sportskeeda. Asked who, in her opinion, is the greatest female superstar of all time in WWE, Ripley named Bianca Belair, albeit second to Mami.
“Oh, I had my title ready and everything,” said Mami, realizing she could not name herself. She continued, “it’s a tough one because Rhea Ripley’s just the top, because Mami’s always on top, so who would be below Mami? I’m gonna go with Bianca Belair.” Omitting herself, The Eradicator took The EST Bianca Belair’s name as the greatest female superstar ever.
Bianca Belair is a 3-time Women’s Champion. The EST went on to win the 2021 Royal Rumble and headline the first night of WrestleMania 38 with Sasha Banks. On the other hand, Rhea Ripley captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39. With the victory, she became the youngest Grand Slam Champion in WWE at the age of 26.
Bianca Belair reveals the real reason behind her absence from WWE
Bianca Belair has cemented her status as one of the distinguished female babyfaces of WWE over the years. Fans often refer to The EST as the female John Cena in the WWE Universe. In a recent media appearance, Belair revealed the reason why she has been missing the episodes of Friday Night SmackDown.
Speaking with Metro Co. UK, The EST admitted to taking a break from in-ring action to focus on self-care after her historic 420-day championship reign. She said, “Right now, it was just some self-care. We did some things with us personally that I’m so excited about, it has to do with the future, ‘I’m trying to write a children’s book as well.” She further revealed that she is working on a children’s book.
The 34-year-old superstar hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since the August 18 edition of SmackDown. She teamed up with Charlotte Flair to take on Bayley and WWE Women’s Champion Iyo Sky. Following the match, she was viciously attacked by Damage CTRL, writing her off television in the process. It will be interesting to see when she returns to television.
