WWE’s upcoming premium live event, Fastlane, is just on the horizon. One of the major matches announced for the night is John Cena and LA Knight vs. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. Recently, the 16-time World Champion has reacted for the first time since finding a new partner for his match this week on SmackDown.

On the September 29 edition of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso sought to mete out another vicious beatdown to the Cenation Leader. However, LA Knight made a shocking return to a huge pop from the crowd. The Megastar laid out Solo Sikoa with a BFT, followed by an elbow drop to Jimmy Uso.

After fending off The Bloodline, he signed the contract to officially join forces with John Cena. As a result, the Cenation Leader was flabbergasted and it was conspicuous with his facial expression in the ring. Following the episode of SmackDown, John Cena reacted to finding a new partner for himself at Fastlane.

The 46-year-old took to his X handle, and wrote, “Better late than never! YEAH, I have a partner for #WWEFastlane! See you next week, Jimmy @WWEUsos and @WWESoloSikoa! @WWE.” The Franchise Player expressed his elation over his latest association with The Megastar.

LA Knight was originally to appear on last week’s SmackDown itself. However, he was pulled from the show at the last minute after testing positive for COVID-19. Moreover, The Bloodline vs. John Cena and LA Knight match will potentially headline Fastlane this coming Saturday. If that turns out to be the case, then it will be a huge milestone for The Megastar.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter via Ringside News, the higher-ups in WWE are allegedly grooming LA Knight to battle against Roman Reigns. He may likely get a title shot against The Tribal Chief at WWE’s upcoming premium live event in Saudi Arabia.

The 40-year-old superstar rose to megastardom over the last eight months. Every time LA Knight’s music hits the arena, the crowd receives him with a deafening pop. The Megastar is also consecutively among the top 3 merchandise sellers throughout this summer. If WWE pulls the trigger on Knight, the back-and-forth promo battles between The Megastar and The Tribal Chief will be a treat to witness.
