Former WWE star Brian James, a.k.a. “Road Dogg,” has been a big name in WWE. He has been a part of one of the greatest factions in WWE, known as DX. Most recently, he made an appearance on the episode “Raw is XXX.” Apart from being a former WWE star, he holds a significant position in the company. He is responsible for looking after the creative product of WWE live shows that are not televised.

Road Dogg, during his podcast “Oh… You Didn’t Know,” spoke about WWE superstar Damian Priest. He said that he is really impressed by the growth and evolution of the former NXT star. “Damian Priest, I think I’ve said it said it before, actually maybe on here, but he has come so far,” he said. Moreover, Road Dogg also said that there are big things yet to come for him. The former DX star sees potential in him and has praised him for his incredible performance on the main roster. “Think about the people that Damian Priest is surrounded by […], I predict he’ll be a Universal Champion one day. I do believe that, and I believe he could carry it,” he added.

Damian Priest, who is a part of The Judgment Day, has quite impressed the fans with his performance. Priest has been the faction’s dominant force since Edge recruited him on The Judgement Day. Road Dogg believes he is surrounded by some of the most incredible superstars, such as Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio, and is still able to shine among them. Therefore, he believes it is not much time before he will be in the main title picture.

Damian Priest had an incredible run on the NXT roster, winning the NXT North American Championship in 2020. With Triple H at the helm, fans can expect even more incredible things from The Archer of Infamy in the future. Priest is undoubtedly one of the emerging stars on the main roster and is expected to do wonders.

Damian Priest made his main roster debut on the episode of Raw after Rumble in 2021. He was paired with Bad Bunny on the following episodes of Raw. On his main roster debut, he defeated Miz in a one-on-one match. The Archer of Infamy won his first title on the main roster by defeating Sheamus for the United States Championship at SummerSlam 2021. The WWE Universe loved his reign as the US champion. However, he held the US Championship only for six months. But during that time, he delivered some great matches.

One of Priest’s most notable storylines began when he cost AJ Styles his match against Edge at WrestleMania 38. Edge coronated Priest as part of The Judgment Day on the following episode of Raw after Mania. The two of them formed an alliance, later adding more members to the faction. Moreover, the former US champion has put on some incredible storylines. He brought out his darker version and delivered judgment on the superstars that came his way.

Hence, the WWE Universe saw the rise of a star in the form of Damien Priest. The company sees potential in him and feels like he could be the star to carry the industry forward.
