Roman Reigns and Jey Uso had a fantastic rivalry back in 2020. This was before Reigns forced Jey to join him after a humiliating loss inside Hell in a Cell. But soon, Jey embraced being a sidekick to his cousin.

WWE pulled out a couple of splendid matches with Reigns and Jey as bitter rivals. After winning the Universal Championship in 2020, Jey Uso was the first challenger for the ‘Tribal Chief.’ Though fans initially wondered why the Tag team Champion was facing Reigns, their rivalry shut up every critic.

Jey and Roman’s Hell in a Cell match is arguably one of the finest displays of storytelling and brutal in-ring action. The end was dramatic, too, with Jimmy Uso getting involved, and Reigns putting him in a guillotine choke, forcing Jey to quit to save his blood brother.

In a recent interview with The Ringer, Roman Reigns spoke about opponents who made him feel nervous during his dominant title reign. And out of the blue, blurted out a familiar name, Jey Uso. Here’s what the ‘Tribal Chief’ said:

“I’ve never been so nervous for anybody I’ve been in the ring with….I don’t think anyone’s ever pushed me emotionally like Jey has. And I think we did that for each other and we made a star out of him. I mean, even to this day, if he doesn’t go through that process, I don’t think he’s doing what he’s doing now at the level he’s doing it at. It doesn’t happen if he doesn’t make those giant leaps he did two years ago.”

The Bloodline is as strong as it could be lately. With the likes of Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn joining in, the faction is on a different level. Roman Reigns loved the involvement of the ‘Great Liberator’ Sami Zayn. But things turn around for Jey Uso.

The Bloodline is as strong as it could be lately. With the likes of Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn joining in, the faction is on a different level. Roman Reigns loved the involvement of the ‘Honorary Uce’ Sami Zayn. But things aren’t really merry with Jey Uso and Sami Zayn.

It will be interesting to see how Zayn and Jey Uso co-exist during the WarGames match at Survivor Series. If The Bloodline wants to ensure a win, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn must be on the same page. Or else, they could be on the receiving end of Roman Reigns’ wrath.
