Roman Reigns and The Rock
The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns is on the pinnacle of his career and has been undefeated this year. Roman Reigns reached a milestone recently when he completed 700 days as a Universal Champion. Reigns’ last exploits in the ring were at SummerSlam this year against Brock Lesnar, which he won. Roman will now face Drew McIntyre at the Clash at the Castle Live event. The Tribal Chief has managed to defeat the Scottish warrior in all the singles matches he has faced him.
Roman Reigns currently appears on selective Live events as per his contract and recently during an interview with Sports Illustrated, he shed a light on that. Reigns stated that he has been on the road for 10 years straight and had a full schedule for a long time. Reigns stated that he was only getting a day to spend time with his family and on that particular day too, he would be tired.
He stated that being a father of five kids who are very young, it is important for him to build a relationship and bond by spending more time with them. Reigns declared that it is now not possible for him to be on every Pay Per view but will always support the major ones to keep the story and rivalries going forward.
Roman Reigns shares his thoughts on Triple H being Head of Creative
During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Roman Reigns also spoke about Triple H’s new role in the company. Reigns feels that Triple H is the babyface of the company right now and there is a lot of excitement in the WWE after his appointment. Roman Reigns lauded the Game for having the guts and taking matters into his hands after something controversial had occurred in the company. Roman Reigns said that when John Cena left it was hard for him to establish as Cena’s successor but praised Triple H for following Vince McMahon.
In the same interview he spoke about the possible match against The Rock at WrestleMania 39. Roman Reigns said that there is a synchronization between the things that The Rock does and based on that everything looks well, indicating that the Rock has managed his schedule and there might be a possibility of a match at WrestleMania 39.
“A lot of synergy with everything that he does with the projects that he’s guiding and has in mind. So yeah, I would say just based of that alone, it looks even better than it did last time we spoke.”
Clash at the Castle Live event will take place on September 3rd at Principality Stadium, Cardiff, Wales.
