In 5 days, WWE will present their 36th annual Royal Rumble event. Fans are actually invested into it for obvious reasons. One of them being this year’s Rumble as the first to held under Triple H’s supervision as creative lead. They’ve been promised an exuberant night with plenty of pleasing surprises on hand.

With so much anticipation surrounding the premium live event, the ticket sales for this one has been an intriguing affair. To mention, San Antonio will play as the host city for the namesake event, wherein The Alamodome is gearing up for the festivities, come January 28th. Latest figures from WrestleTix’s Patreon suggest fans turning up in masses.

According to the information made available behind his paywall, present capacity/setup accounts for 41,273 seats, which can definitely increase as per demand. Out of these, over 40,000 tickets have already been sold. To be very precise, that number is currently at 40,699. That leaves only 574 tickets up for grabs. To be noted, around 2,000 tickets are listed on the secondary market as resales.

With some time stiff left for the event to unfold, it’s likely that they’ll open up more sections of the Alamodome, in the coming days. With a nice walk-in, Royal Rumble this year can easily hold around 50,000 fans in attendance. As previously noted, the forthcoming edition of Royal Rumble is already the largest gate in event’s history.

With the already boiling cup of emotions between The Bloodline and Sami Zayn, things may take an unprecedented turn.
