Sami Zayn was forced to make a choice last night, and he didn’t back out. However, he made the call to go against Roman Reigns, instead of unloading the bullets on Kevin Owens. After being forced to unleash on Kevin, the Syrian wrestler found himself in the toughest situation of his life. When the time came, he cracked Roman Reigns with a Steel Chair shot. The scenes were as poetic as anything could ever get.

Term it a tribute or a callback, WWE kind of recreated that Shield breakup with Sami and Roman. In 2014, it was Seth Rollins as the culprit, while Reigns to receive the clubbing blow to his back. And around a decade later, The Tribal Chief once again got snubbed, however, the story was much different this time around.

What followed Sami Zayn’s betrayal was his ultimate destruction. Reigns and company mauled the breath out of The Honorary Uce, leaving him as a lifeless body. After the show went off-air, a fan footage disclosed what happened between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. After numerous refs uncuffed The Prizefighter from ring ropes, he gently rolled towards his former best friend.

An already broken Sami Zayn slowly made it to his feet, with the crowd still chanting his name. This story still has more layers left to get decoded. As known, Jey Uso retrieved himself out of the site when asked by Roman Reigns to destroy Zayn. The coming weeks should reveal it all. Does Reigns possess the audacity to reassemble some broken hearts or they’re soon falling apart? By Friday, the picture will be crystal clear.

Are Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens forming a tag-team?

After what happened last night, it seems like Sami Zayn may revert back to his decades long friend. Also, it was previously rumored that these Canadian besties will face The Usos at WrestleMania 39 for the tag-team titles. However, a lot has changed since then. Sami Zayn is the most over face in this entire industry right now.

So being said, inserting him in a tag-team program alongside Owens is a certain downgrade. Many fans are under the belief that considering the red-hot form Sami’s currently in, he should dethrone Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

This entire Bloodline/Sami tale has proven to be a storytelling masterclass. Adding some more weight to balance, the WWE Universe firmly believes that this is the best they’ve seen since Daniel Bryan’s YES! Movement story. So, the stage is set, fans are so invested in it, and WWE needs to have a singles match between Reigns and Zayn.
