The Miz has proven himself in the WWE, climbing the company’s ladder and becoming WWE Champion twice in his career. For a long period in the outset of his career, he was not seen as a credible superstar, but his hard work showed his credibility.
The Miz recently spoke on Off the Beat with Brian Baumgartner, where he addressed how WWE was first pleased by his mic skills. However, as exciting as this was for him, they never viewed him as a true WWE superstar.
Rather, the corporation desired that he should become a WWE commentator. The Miz insisted, and as a result, he was given a developmental contract, and he trained for a long time before proving everyone wrong and becoming one of the most renowned WWE superstars of all time.
Miz said, “They told me, ‘we might bring you in as a commentator or interviewer.’ It was the first time I said, ‘but I want to be a WWE Superstar.’ They didn’t look at me like a WWE Superstar, they looked at me as a personality………..They gave me a developmental deal to go down and they didn’t think I was going to be much of anything, to be honest, you could kind of tell, ‘let’s see what we got here.’ They gave me this developmental contract.”
The Miz reflects on a professional boxer joining WWE

The Miz recently did an interview with TMZ in which he was asked about unbeaten fighter and YouTuber Jake Paul. The former WWE Champion stated that Jake has the potential to be a huge WWE superstar in the future.
The Miz believes Jake Paul is highly athletic and has the proper amount of skill to be a wonderful superstar. Logan Paul is similar to him, as seen by his recent performances in the firm we can say that there is a chance the Paul brothers took over the entire product.
Miz claims that if Logan Paul can accomplish it, so can Jake Paul. The Problem Child has even stated that he would like to join the WWE at some point in the future, but this has yet to be confirmed by both the organization and the wrestler, so fans will have to wait and see if the boxer joins the company.
