Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson has taken the wrestling world by storm with his involvement in WWE recently. In a surprising turn of events, he joined Roman Reigns and the Bloodline in the name of family and will be in his corner at WrestleMania. However, fans expect something more from him, and that is regularly showing up on the shows.
WWE superstar, Finn Balor was enjoying a beach in Australia when one fan asked him about the event. He further asked whether The Rock would be present at the event or not. Balor had a rather hilarious response to his question and called Rocky lazy, who never shows up at work.
Furthermore, that fan asked about more superstars like Roman Reigns and The Undertaker. The 42-year-old star even jokingly said that the dead would be at the Elimination Chamber PLE. WWE Universe has always criticized Reigns and The Rock for their part-time schedule and for not showing up regularly on the shows.
[Fan] Is The Rock gonna show up at Elimination Chamber? [Finn] No, that lazy motherf**ker never shows up. [fan] Roman Reigns? [Finn] No. [Fan] The Undertaker? [Finn] Will be there.Finn Balor about The Rock
Balor had a great night at the Elimination Chamber as he and Damian Priest retained their tag team titles. They defeated Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate in an amazing match that some fans regarded as the best of the night. As of now, the road to WrestleMania seems clear for Judgment Day. Only time will tell what transpires in the upcoming weeks.
Damian Priest could get a substitute tag team partner due to Finn Balor’s injury
Although Finn Balor and Damian Priest won their match against the New Catch Republic, they have a few things to worry about. Throughout the match, Dunne brutally attacked Balor’s thumbs and fingers, and he was looking very concerned about his thumb when the match finished.
Now, if the Prince has to take a break for some time to fully recover, Priest will have to look for a new partner. However, that won’t be a problem as he has not one, but two members who can be his partners, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.
WWE Universe has seen the trio of the team like the New Day playing with a free bird rule, as when needed Dom or JD, anyone can be his partner. Nothing is confirmed yet, as nobody knows how severe the 42-year-old’s injury is. It will be interesting to see what transpires in the upcoming weeks.
