WATCH: Former women’s Tag Team Champion attacked Trish Stratus before WWE RAW started
There were some intriguing developments for WrestleMania 39 storylines in the most recent episode of WWE Raw, as Damage CTRL viciously ambushed Trish Stratus backstage.
Even before the RAW began, Trish Stratus had to face the brutal thrashing by Damage CTRL. All three members of the faction, Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky, were seen beating and insulting Hall of Famer Stratus backstage.
This happened during the backstage segment in which Cathy Kelly was seen interviewing The Miz. And suddenly, the camera shifted towards Damage CTRL, which was ambushing Trish. There were no signs of Trish’s teammate Becky Lynch or Lita when she was being brutally dragged and thrown onto the object nearby.
After Lita’s return, HoF’er Trish also returned to support her friends, Becky Lynch and Lita, during an episode of RAW in the month of February. She even claimed that she would always be present for her friends. The 47-year-old showed up when her friends were outnumbered by Damage CTRL and helped them to win the tag titles from Dakota Kai and Io Sky. But Lynch and Lita were nowhere to be seen to help Trish this week.
It was confirmed on last week’s episode of Raw that Trish is scheduled for a fight at WrestleMania 39 against the Damage CTRL, along with her teammates Becky Lynch and Lita. This match will decide the future of Trish Stratus. If the babyfaces win this upcoming match at The Grandest Stage of Them All, they might end their rivalry with te heel faction. This will then leave Stratus open to a new storyline. The backstage segment can be watched here.

Hall of Famer Lita talks about her road to WrestleMania 39
This year’s road to WrestleMania has been a very exciting one for Lita. She won the women’s tag team titles, and now she is headed towards a WrestleMania match. As she moves ahead into the upcoming Showcase of Immortals, she talks about her preparations and dedication.
In an interview with Adrian Hernandez, she said that she wasn’t hoping for it and that WrestleMania was “Not on my radar, in the most remote possibility.”
She further stated that when you are not prepared, that is exactly when the opportunities come. Lita was still preparing herself, and kept fighting in the ring because, according to her, “If you stay prepared, that’s the best way to knock at the call.”
Further in the interview, Lita said that she feels Chyna is the most Bad**s woman in the history of WWE. She even gave a word of advice to the upcoming female wrestlers and asked them to be themselves. According to her, the craziest place she has ever wrestled is Saudi Arabia, which was a “Pretty damn crazy” experience for her.
The WWE Universe is eagerly waiting for to see two Hall of Famers, Trish Stratus and Lita, compete at WrestleMania 39.
