Seth Rollins and Austin Theory are not short of history. From a disciple to a rival, Austin Theory has changed his work attitude with the Visionary. Not only with Rollins, but the United States Champion has shown a new side of his character after failing to cash-in his Money in the Bank contract. 

After being adversaries for months, Rollins and Theory have developed a sense of hatred for each other. With the United States Championship being a puppet between them, fans have enjoyed how these men have culminated their Messiah-Disciple bond into a rivalry. The WWE Universe is excited to see where they are headed, with their rivalry fueling up every week.

After a shocking victory at Survivor Series, Austin Theory proclaimed to be a grown up. However, the Visionary didn’t feel the same. WWE then booked Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley in a No.2 contenders match to determine Theory’s next challenger.

In a fantastic match last week, Rollins defeated Lashley before the latter faced some issues with WWE official Adam Pearce. Rollins will face Austin Theory on the New Year edition of Monday Night Raw with the United States Championship on the line. However, both men faced each other before their match on Raw. 

WWE hosted a live event in Rochester recently. With Rollins and Theory battling, the United States Championship on the line. As everyone would expect, Theory retained. However, the result was not very enjoyable. Instead, millions loved Seth Rollins throwing a trash can on the champion. You can watch the video .

WWE has fantastic plans for Seth Rollins ahead of the Road to WrestleMania

With Royal Rumble 2023 on the horizon, WWE has some brilliant plans for Seth Rollins. Being a main-eventer for years, the Visionary has risen to the top of the industry with his performances. As per reports from Xero News, Seth Rollins will reinvest some of his time in a match with Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. This will supposedly be the last shot for Rollins to score a victory against the American Nightmare. 

This was accompanied by another report stating that WWE has made some modifications to their plans for Rhodes’ return. The comeback, which was expected to be featured at Royal Rumble 2023, will now reportedly be during the United States Championship match on the New Year edition of Monday Night Raw. Fans are excited to see how things play out with some concrete plans in WWE’s cards.
