However, since the past couple months, the WWE Universe is waiting for an update on the unified championships in WWE. Since their unification, fans have been waiting for the company to split both championships. There have been numerous rumors of WWE’s plans to split the titles every month. However, the plans are being dropped very soon.
Now, new reports have surfaced the internet giving an update on WWE’s plans for the unification. As per Xero News, the company has planned to split the titles and the plans are to get things done before the Hollywood edition of the Grandest Stage of them All. These reports have taken the fans back with their excitement and belief to witness something new in the storylines.

How will WWE split the titles before WrestleMania 39?
WrestleMania 39 seems to be very exciting and the plans rumored are probably set. However, the plans may change if WWE decides to split the championships before the 39th edition of the Grandest Stage of them All. Roman Reigns is reigning as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and he is currently rumored to face the Rock at WrestleMania 39.
Earlier the match was reportedly set to be for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, however, plans will change now. Roman Reigns is reportedly set to face Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber 2023. Though there are no championships announced to be involved right now, plans may be for a single title as well.
The Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships have been on a roll for months. A few days ago, Adam Pearce teased a split of the tag team titles by announcing a tag team turmoil match to determine the No. 1 contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championships. With Royal Rumble 2023 on the horizon, it will be interesting to see how things turn out.
