Roman Reigns is the face of WWE right now and draws attention from all over the world. He has surpassed 1000 days as the Universal Champion and is currently operating in “GOD” mode. His title reign has already been so long that it is unclear when he will be dethroned. Kurt Angle has a vision of him being a Hollywood star once he is done with his iconic Tribal Chief gimmick.
Speaking on his own The Kurt Angle Show, Angle stated Reigns’ absence from the company five years from now. The Olympic gold medalist already sees him as a superstar and sees a distinct yet bright future ahead for him. King Kurt mentioned, “He’s got an incredible look, he’s talented, he’s smart” and has no doubt in him being the superstar in that field like his cousin Dwayne Johnson.
Roman has already gained some experience of the industry through a few of his Hollywood projects. Reigns starred in a rom-com ‘The Wrong Missy’ in 2020. The following year gave voice to the character of Ramarilla Jackson in the animated comedy ‘Rumble’. Although his well-known role came even before this when he played the role of Mateo Hobbs in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw.
Angle expects him to trace the path of The Rock, who did the same upon getting exposure from WWE and heading to Hollywood. In Hobbs and Shaw, Reigns played Mateo, who was the brother of Luke Hobbs, a character played by Johnson himself. The Head of the Table is currently focused on the impeccable storyline of The Bloodline. He is not likely to go on a hiatus now, but an incredible future lies ahead of him considering his fandom.
