“Worst match” – WWE Universe expresses DISAPPOINTMENT after Santos Escobar defeated Dragon Lee in a lackluster contest at Survivor Series

Survivor Series 2023 saw some of the greatest moments of the year. However, one match was not able to live up to the mark. The show featured a collision of two incredible athletes, Dragon Lee and Santos Escobar. The story for the match was Lee stepping up against Escobar to avenge his idol, Rey Mysterio. 

The match started with fast-paced action with great counters and reversals. Although the two stars delivered an incredible performance, the match was nothing short of a lackluster contest. The disappointment arose after Santos Escobar buried the young talent of Dragon Lee to secure a clean win.

The WWE Universe was disappointed with the result, as the Chicago crowd didn’t show any sort of excitement throughout the contest. Moreover, the match didn’t even have the high-flying elements of Dragon Lee, which again displeased the fans. It will be safe to say that it was comparatively quite a lackluster match.

However, the match was not bad. It was surely substandard compared to the other matches on the card. It is going to be interesting to see where the future of Dragon Lee will be headed from here on out. As for Santos Escobar, he has achieved a huge win, which will undoubtedly escalate his momentum.

WWE Universe displeased after Santos Escobar buried Dragon Lee

Although the match was average, the WWE Universe was expecting some good performances from Santos Escobar and Dragon Lee. WWE Universe expressed their resentment on X. Some fans called it the worst match on the card, while others said that this match should have a few more minutes. Moreover, the fans expressed their displeasure on social media after the match. Furthermore, some fans unleashed their anger, saying this match was below average. In addition to that, a fan even referred to this match as meaningless and a sort of filler for the event.
