Reigns has been performing on a completely different level, “God-mode” as he likes to refer it, since he adopted the character of Tribal Chief. This gimmick was introduced in the final moments of Summerslam 2020 – when Reigns returned from a break. Surprisingly, yet thankfully, he had turned Heel – and had even associated himself with Paul Heyman.

Roman Reigns has been the Universal Champion since Payback 2020. The reign extends for over 500 days, during the course of which he has defeated the likes of John Cena, Edge and Daniel Bryan, among others. But in order to continue his dominance, he faces one of the biggest challenges till date, in the form of the Beast Incarnate.

One of the biggest reasons for Reigns becoming the biggest Heel in the industry is his Tribal Chief character. He demands acknowledgement from the entire WWE Universe. Recently, Roman Reigns posted a clip from the upcoming documentary, WWE Evil, where he opened up about the origins of the Tribal Chief.

“Every bit of who I am has gone into this character, every little speed bump, the adversities, the growing pains, the transitions, all of that has been just balled up and used into what you see today,” mentioned Reigns.

In the build up to their Wrestlemania main event match, Roman Reigns brutaaly attacked Brock Lesnar at the Madison Square Garden live event. He attacked Lesnar with the steel steps and the steel chair – making him bleed profusely. This wasn’t necessarily a smart move, considering it clearly awakened the sleeping Beast.

On a recent episode of Smackdown, the Beast Incarnate three away the title and announced that he is no longer after the titles. Its all about blood for him! In fact, he even smashed the Tribal Chief’s car with a forklift! The Champion vs Champion match is set to take place in the main event of Wrestlemania Sunday.
