Seth Rollins calls out a WWE Hall of Famer
Rollins
Seth Rollins has been one of the most consistent Superstars for WWE in the recent years. He is one of the few Superstars who has often successfully transitioned from Face to Heel and back. But his character on-screen character is an all-out Heel, who could go to any length to devour his opponents. In fact, his first feud in this avatar involved him taking out Rey Mysterio’s eye!
While initially Rollins failed to gain any sort of heat from the fans, over the last couple of months – since his feud against Edge, the Monday Night Messiah has finally found his rhythm in this character. After finally getting enough momentum on his side, Seth Rollins managed to defeat Finn Balor, Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio in a Fatal 4-Way ladder match to become the No.1 Contender’s for the WWE Champion.
With the win, Rollins earned the right to challenge Big E for the top WWE title on the Red brand. On the latest episode of Raw it was announced that the Monday Night Messiah will be going after the WWE title at the upcoming PPV – WWE Day 1. While it was initially announced as a singles match, by the end of the episode, Kevin Owens was added to the match – making things more difficult for E and Rollins.
Apart from his in-ring performances, the new Heel Rollins is also popular for his interesting outfit choices. On the recent episode, he came out wearing oversized shades with a pink and red outfit. Seemingly, Mick Foley disapproved this outfit and called out Rollins. “Not usually one to comment on fashion…but WTF was (Seth Rollins) wearing tonight?” – tweeted the WWE Hall of Famer.
But Rollins didn’t take the feedback quietly and hit back with a sarcastic reply. “MICK FOLEY, EVERYBODY!!! THE FOREMOST AUTHORITY ON FASHION AND STYLE!!” – the Monday Night Messiah retorted.
Seth Rollins will go after the WWE Championship
After a significantly long wait, Seth Rollins is once again back on the WWE Championship scene. He earned his shot at the title through a ladder match, and will be challenging Big E at WWE Day 1. But things are not going to be easy for Rollins, as Big E has been on a dream run since becoming a Champion.
But Big E is not the only whom Rollins will be worrying about. Kevin Owens is also a part of the match. In the main event of Raw, Owens secured a disqualification win over E, thereby securing a spot in the WWE Championship match at WWE Day 1.
