Reigns defeated Mysterio insde the WWE Hell in a Cell

Universal Champion Roman Reigns’ dominant run continued on the latest episode of WWE Smackdown. The Tribal Chief put his title on the line against one-half of the Smackdown Tag Team Champion, Rey Mysterio.

The two Champions battled inside the Hell in a Cell, which marked the first ever HIAC stipulation match on the Blue-brand. Despite dominating for a major part of the match, Rey Mysterio tapped out to the Universal Champion in the historic main event.

Surprisingly, Roman Reigns will not be making an appearance at WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 PPV. But he has again found a way to ensure that the WWE Universe continues to talk about him throughout the week. Next week on Smackdown, any Superstar can challenge the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.

On the latest episode of Talking Smack, on behalf of Roman Reigns, his special counsel Paul Heyman issued a massive open challenge. Paul said, “Here’s the good news. This coming Friday on SmackDown, Roman Reigns’ dance card is open. So who wants to make a go of it? Who wants to take their chances this Friday in not acknowledging your Tribal Chief Roman Reigns? Because that, ladies and gentlemen, is where the suffering begins.”

Who could answer Universal Champion Roman Reigns’ open challenge?

Jimmy Uso might answer Roman Reigns’ challenge

After what went down inside the Hell in a Cell on the latest episode of Smackdown, Dominik Mysterio is most likely to answer Universal Champion Roman Reigns’ open challenge. But the only likely outcome from that match is clear domination from The Tribal Chief.

Another likely opponent for answering the open challenge could be Jimmy Uso. This could lead up to a full feud, as him and Reigns are already at loggerheads. Whichever Superstar answers the open challenge might lead to Reigns’ final feud before the rumored feud against John Cena at WWE Summerslam.
