Who was the first ever Grand Slam Champion in WWE ?
After numerous modifications and changes in their titles, WWE has had a total of 22 Grand Slam Champions in the span of over three decades.

Being a Grand Slam Champion in WWE means winning all the championships in the company. This includes winning the World Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, the United States Championship, and the Tag Team Championship, according to the current list of titles in the company. Throughout its history, WWE has had multiple titles that were introduced or discontinued along the way. Therefore, tracking Grand Slam Champions has been difficult.
However, there is consensus that Shawn Michaels was the first-ever Grand Slam Champion. This was announced when he won the European Championship in 1997. He had already won the WWF Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and the Tag titles before. Therefore, the Hall of Famer is considered the first to do it, apart from having one of the best careers in the industry spanning over three decades.
Over the past three decades, the list of Grand Slam Champions has grown vastly. Veterans like Kane, Triple H, Chris Jericho, and Big Show are included in the list according to the old format. In the revised format from 2015, Kurt Angle, Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and many others are considered Grand Slam Champions.
Interestingly, all members of The Shield, i.e., Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose, are Grand Slam Champions according to the new format. Superstars like John Cena and Sheamus are one championship away, as both veterans have never won the IC title in their careers.

The Miz is the first-ever two-time Grand Slam Champion
At Elimination Chamber 2021, The Miz used his MITB Briefcase on Drew McIntyre to win his second WWE Championship after almost a decade. This victory was a lot more important, as it made Miz the first ever two-time Grand Slam Champion. This meant that he had won all the championships in the company at least twice.
The Miz has been in WWE for over 18 years and has had a Hall of Fame-worthy career. He also successfully defended his World Championship against John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania. Miz is also considered to be one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions of the modern era. He regained the prestige of the title during his reign that it had lacked for years before he won it.
After Miz, Seth Rollins became the second person to become a two-time Grand Slam Champion. He defeated Austin Theory to become the US Champion in 2022 for the second time. Rollins is currently the World Heavyweight Champion, which was introduced in May. Therefore, it is unclear if the new championship will carry on the legacy of the old titles.
