The times certainly do not seem to be going well for poor Lance Stroll as he has come under fire for causing a huge crash at the Sprint Qualifiers ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix. Stroll’s Spa incident caused the stewards to call for a red flag and subsequently, the session was cancelled altogether. As the Sprint Qualis got called off too early, some drivers like Lance Stroll‘s own teammate Fernando Alonso did not get the chance to clock his best lap timings and thus, he failed to make it into the top 10 for the Sprint Race.
Fernando Alonso‘s fanbase gave Lance Stroll flak on social media for causing their favorite racer to miss out on a top 10 finish at the Qualifiers. But that was not the end of the Canadian’s humiliation as he soon came to be at the butt end of another joke. While coming down the stairs of his Aston Martin motorhome, Lance landed face-first on the group as he tripled and fell. And the cameras which were around captured the incident and circulated it on social media.
When fans found the photo of Lance Stroll falling down the stairs, some were concerned for him. The 24-year-old has had a huge crash while training in Spain with his bike ahead of the first race of 2023. He had to undergo a major surgery for his wrist, and he also had to endure several physiotherapy sessions before getting to the point where he could drive again. But now, with him falling down the stairs, there is a possibility that his wrist suffered some impact. Other fans simply joked about how he is quite crash-prone, while he is racing and also while he is walking.

Pop sensation Jason Derulo turned into an overnight meme idol as he tripped on the stairs on his way to the Met Gala. When Lance met the same fate on the stairs of his Aston Martin motorhome, the fans could not help comparing the two. But it should be noted that Derulo has claimed he never even went to the Met during the time when the photo was taken, and it is quite possible that some other person had tripped on the stairs and it was not Jason Derulo at all.

Now, it remains to be seen how he fairs at the Sprint Race later today, and the Main Race that is scheduled to take place on Sunday.
