Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jen Belichick, is in trouble. According to multiple sources, an arrest warrant has been issued in her name in North Carolina.

Belichick has three children—two sons, Stephen Belichick and Brian Belichick, and a daughter, Amanda Belichick. Jen is the wife of Stephen, who is also the defensive coordinator of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels football team, whose head coach is Bill.

Stephen won three Super Bowls with the Patriots, performing several different coaching roles. In 2024, he took the DC job at the University of Washington Huskies football team, before joining his father’s entourage at Chapel Hill a year later.

Jen married Stephen in June 2017. According to the New York Post, a Brunswick County judge issued an order on Monday for the arrest of Jen.

The Post further revealed that the arrest warrant was issued after Jen failed to appear in court. On May 21, an NCSHP trooper pulled Jen over and cited her for misdemeanor speeding after she was accused of going 88 mph in a Jeep in a 70 mph zone

Due to her overspeeding, the court ordered Jen to appear in court last Friday. However, she did not show up. The Post reported that Jen can file a motion to recall the order by hiring an attorney, or she can turn himself in.

Bill Belichick ranked as the best coach of all time

In 2024, Belichick walked away from the Patriots after delivering six Super Bowl titles in his more than two decades in charge of the club. Many predicted he would find a job immediately, but he remained a free agent for an entire year before agreeing to coach UNC.

Belichick is second all-time in career wins (333) and third all-time in regular-season wins (302). Earlier in the year, the 74-year-old missed out on the chance to become a Hall of Famer. Many pointed to the “deflategate” scandal as the main reason behind the snub. Regardless, Belichick is one of the greatest coaches of all time. In fact, the greatest coach according to CBS Sports.

Tom Brady closes one chapter about Bill Belichick once and for all

One of the key players behind the Patriots’ domination of the NFL for more than two decades was quarterback Tom Brady. Together, Belichick and Brady led the Patriots to several divisional, conference, and world championships.

After a massive falling out between the pair, Brady left the Patriots, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and won his seventh ring. Brady proved he could win a championship without Belichick, but Belichick couldn’t replicate it. Experts credited the other six rings to Brady’s quarterback play. However, the 48-year-old dismissed that theory on the New Heights podcast. He claimed it was a team effort.

Everybody’s important. The person who washes the clothes is important… If you have bad quarterback play, it doesn’t matter what else you do. You’re not going to win. If you have bad coaching, it doesn’t matter how well the players are doing. You’re going to lose.

Brady retired from the NFL in 2023. He bought a small share in the Las Vegas Raiders.
