Days after Ryan Clark cried in front of the camera while discussing about his release from ESPN, the former NFL DB has received a job offer from an unexpected source.

Almost a week ago, Ryan Clark became part of the unfortunate group of employees who were fired by ESPN citing Disney’s (parent company) cost-cutting drive. That doesn’t mean Clark is unemployed. He has hosted The Pivot podcast with retired NFL players Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor for many years.

Nevertheless, Clark received a job offer from an unexpected source. The offer came from popular Baltimore seafood joint Jimmy’s Famous Seafood.

Clark has not replied to the offer just yet.

Previously, Geno Smith received a similar job offer after the Las Vegas Raiders cut ties with him. Famous fast food chain, Wendy’s promised to give Smith a chance to be part of their workforce until he found gig elsewhere. Smith signed a multi-year contract with the New York Jets.

Hall of Famer gave Ryan Clark a groundbreaking startup idea

A few days after ESPN fired Clark, the former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback recorded a very personal message for his followers. He also became emotional while explaining that he was wrongfully dismissed by the network.

Hall of Famer and head coach the Colorado Buffaloes, Deion Sanders suggested that Clark should team up with his former ESPN colleagues, Robert Griffin III and Cam Newton to start a new show.

Saturday morning just thinking what if Ryan Clark, Cam Newton & RG3 had their own Show that spoke about football and other topics! Wow that would be a Show Show! What y’all think? Be honest and no Hate! Express thoughts without hate. Thank You.

Deion Sanders tweeted

However, Sanders’ idea did little to bring the internet together. Sure, some loved his take, but a few pointed out that Clark and RG3’s has had bad blood between them ever since Clark targeted the former NFL quarterback’s wife who is White and hails from Eastern Europe.

Sanders has faced his fair share of hatred on social media, but even he couldn’t believe commentors would bash Clark for his past statements.

I wanted y’all to view how much hate there is in our country even when you’re polite and ask people not to display hate they can’t help themselves. Lord bless them all and create in them a pure heart.

Former NFL LB backed Ryan Clark displaying his emotional side on camera

Last week, Clark shared his side of the story after getting fired from ESPN. He claimed that he has always “wanted to do was to be accepted” by the people in the network. He further added that he couldn’t be “too Black.”

Emmanuel Acho followed Clark’s emotional confession every step of the way. Later, Acho concluded that Clark may have been dealing with some sort of trauma. In a recent episode of Speakeasy, Acho argued noted that the word “always” is “very powerful.” He also noted that Clark has been searching for acceptance all this time and the term “fit in” has a deeper meaning than most people perceive.

I think loved Ryan crying because that it exposed something that so many people do not deal with. I think we all have some trauma that some people go to therapy to workout, or other individuals bury the entirety of their lives and finds it’s way out… You either gonna implode or explode, one or the two… And Ryan in that moment I think was feeling those childlike feelings that he’s been dealing with or has to deal with.

Ryan Clark worked 11 years at ESPN. He appeared on shows like Get Up, NFL Live and First Take.
