Esteban Ocon BEATS Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, bags a surprising achievement

French racer Esteban Ocon has unlocked a new achievement with regards to his career statistics in Formula 1. Esteban Ocon’s statistics show that he has driven his Alpine for a whopping 934 laps so far in this season. As only six races are left for the end of this year’s F1 Championship, it is possible that Ocon will take away the crown for being the most consistent racer in 2022. And the suprising fact is that the French racer has surpassed Max Verstappen, who did not even come in the top 2 of the list!

Max Verstappen has reigned supreme over the entirety of this season as the Dutchman is on his way to defend his F1 World Championship title for a second time. But it must be remembered that he has failed to be the most consistent racer till now as the number of laps that he has raced is only 928. On the other hand, McLaren racer Lando Norris has shown brilliant consistency as he took away the second spot in the standings of which driver put in the most number of laps in this season.

Max Vertappen’s low lap count is mainly because of the engine problems and reliability issues that Red Bull ran into, during the initial few races of this season. But they could, thankfully, fix their RB-18 to help Max Verstappen build up the huge 116-point gap that is there between him and his closest rival Charles Leclerc in the WDC Standings right now.
