The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix stirred quite a lot of emotions. It is safe to say some were positive and some negative. Sergio Perez had an impressive run and won his fifth Formula 1 race at Jeddah. He is rightfully known as the “King of Street Circuits.” The Red Bull garage happily celebrated their driver’s win. However, there was one person who was not happy with the result. Max Verstappen was not fully satisfied with his performance despite his brilliant recovery.

Verstappen started P15 and came home second. The Dutchman, known for his highly competitive nature, was not pleased with a P2 finish. A video of Verstappen quickly leaving after the podium ceremony went viral on social media. While he walked by his team with his trophy, Sergio Perez walked towards his team, handing them his champagne and trophy. 

The fans noticed Verstappen’s attitude and shared their thoughts on social media. Apart from Perez and Verstappen, another driver appeared in this video. It was none other than the two-time world champion, Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard took his 100th podium finish at the Saudi Arabian GP. He tried to photobomb the Red Bull group picture.

The rivalry between Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez continues

The fans were amused with the video. While some focused on Alonso’s comical behavior, others targeted Verstappen for not being happy for his teammate. However, apart from the drama, the fans are happy for Sergio Perez. He has been incredible so far. Perez is one of the most talented drivers on the grid and has proved himself worthy of the Red Bull seat. Christian Horner was delighted with Perez’s performance and the 1-2 finish for the team.

Formula 1 fans looked forward to the picture of Alonso with the Red Bull members. After all, he is the man of the hour. It has been two brilliant races for him. He is known as the “Formula 1 rookie” on social media. Besides the Red Bull drivers, Alonso was the only one to get on the podium this season. The F1 paddock believes Red Bull is unbeatable at the moment. Perez is as hungry as Max Verstappen to win. This could go either way for the team.
