Aston Martin 2023 F1 car
Aston Martin is known for their iconic British racing green just like Ferrari is known for their Red cars. The same applies to McLaren F1 team who are closely associated with papaya orange. Having rebranded from Racing Point back in 2021, the team has always seemed to have aced their car liveries for the past two seasons. The team held a grand car launch event for fans, employees and media to take the covers of their newest challenger for the 2023 season.
Aston Martin team boss Mike Krack went on to talk about the car and the team’s goals for the upcoming year’s campaign. Soon it was time to reveal the car which was under a British flag which acted as a cover. This has become sort of a tradition for the British squad as they went on to showcase the big reveal to the world. New hire, Fernando Alonso and team veteran Lance Stroll walked onto the stage in a ‘Rocky’ movie esq fashion when the covers came off the car.
It is safe to say that the car looked similar. While some were pointing out the fact that the livery didn’t change at all, many pointed out a series similarity. Fans claimed that Aston Martin’s 2023 F1 car seemed like a carbon copy of the Red Bull RB-19. While it is normal for the teams to get inspiration from the top team from last year, the fans did have a few mixed emotions.
