However, McLaren’s Lando Norris had a peculiar question for Stroll. The Briton wondered if the Canadian could w**k as his wrists had recovered. Before Lance Stroll could reply, Carlos Sainz reckoned that if the 25-year-old was fit to race an F1 car, he could probably do that as well.

Drive to Survive delves deep into Lance Stroll’s Aston Martin

The Aston Martin F1 team is owned by Lance Stroll’s father Lawrence Stroll. The business tycoon acquired Force India in 2018 and gave it the Aston Martin label in 2021. The Canadian billionaire has high ambitions for his team at the pinnacle of motorsport. Subsequently, Drive to Survive has showcased this aspect.

In the first episode of the sixth season, it can be seen that Lawrence Stroll is a man who does not want to lose. The 64-year-old brought in world champion Fernando Alonso for 2033 after Sebastian Vettel’s retirement.

The show delves deep into the Stroll father-son duo. The 64-year-old has been extremely supportive of his son’s racing ambitions. As such, it is no surprise that Aston Martin has invested heavily in the past couple of years.

Certainly, the Stroll family might be one of the most interesting aspects of Drive to Survive’s sixth season. Lawrence Stroll’s ambitions had a good start in the early part of 2023. However, the team fell behind its rivals over the course of the season. Fans would have liked the in-depth story of Lance Stroll and Aston Martin on the show.
