“You have to deliver,” Max Verstappen states as he feels no pressure for the upcoming 2023 F1 season
Formula One world champion Max Verstappen isn’t worried for the upcoming F1 season.

After preseason testing, during the 2021, F1 season, fans realised that Max Verstappen finally had the right. machinery in order to dethrone Mercedes. Along with that, the Dutchman would also get the chance to dethrone the seven time F1 world champion to finally win his maiden championship. After an intense season long battle, points were tied as the two drivers approached the last race of the season.
While the race and was a bit controversial, Max Verstappen’s victory was enough for him to beat Lewis Hamilton in the championship standings and bring the title back home. During the 2022 F1 season, the Dutchman seemed to way more dominant as he went on to win 15 out of 22, races that year. Charles Leclerc who had challenged him at the start of the season was nowhere near his points tally by the end of the season.
After winning to back to back, F1 world championships, the target lies on Max Verstappen’s back as he enters the 2023 Formula 1 season. The Dutch driver will be keen on making it a third championship in a row as he prepares for the upcoming season and the challenge that it will pose upon the Red Bull driver.
However, Max seems to be pretty calm about the whole situation.

Max Verstappen remains calm ahead of the 2023 F1 season
In an interview with Sky Sports, here is what the Dutchman had to say. “My favorite number is of course number three”, jokes the Dutchman. “I mean, you always try to go for it, but I don’t know if we’re going to be good enough. Of course as a team we believe we are, we are very motivated, we’ve come off the back of a very strong year,” he continued.
“We are working flat-out to try and achieve that. Everyone back at the factory, the whole winter, was working flat-out, and once I came back from holiday I was also working flat out to try and be in the best shape possible and once you’re back in the car, it’s go time and you have to deliver,” he stated.
There have been only 10 Formula 1 drivers who have won more championships, than Max Verstappen. Niki Lauda and Nelson Piquet both managed to win 3 titles each. With the Dutchman being in a relationship with the ex-racer’s daughter, it will be interesting to see how the Red Bull driver copes up with off track pressure. When it comes to on-track performance, the Dutchman has revealed that he is very calm about the whole situation.
