Fifteen-time PGA Tour winner Justin Thomas appeared on the Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight show recently, where he was seen teaching the host how to club-twirl. The golfer also talked about his upcoming Netflix documentary, his future goals and what’s it like for him to have his dad as coach.
Thomas recently turned out with an impressive performance at the President’s Cup, where he finished with scores of 4-1-0 in his three rounds.
“I’ve always liked making goals. You know, I have some that are more achievable than others, and I have some that are more difficult, but I make everybody on my team do it, so my caddie will do it, my dad will do it, my coach will do it, my putting coach will do it, I’ll do some stuff with my trainer. Because then I make everybody share it with each other so everybody is held accountable,” Thomas told Fallon on the show.
Justin Thomas continues to be against LIV Golf
However, the incident that’s really doing rounds on social media is when Fallon started boasting about his recent bunker hole-out shot playing golf with Justin Timberlake.
While Thomas did appreciate the shot, he didn’t think it was worthy of such a boisterous celebration as seen in the video below:
Thomas recently also commented on the ongoing tussle between the LIV Series and the PGA Tour Thomas said that it is their fault for joining the LIV Series. “I don’t understand. It’s very obvious and written right there in front of them. They just naturally want what’s best for them, just like the decision they made to go there,” quipped Thomas.
