Harry Kane gives a major update on his Tottenham Hotspur future

England and Tottenham Hotspur star striker Harry Kane has issued a major update about his future with Spurs, as speculations have arisen about his move away from White Hart Lane this summer.

Harry Kane had been in an impeccable goalscoring form in the Premier League last season with Tottenham Hotspur, netting 24 times on his way to clinch the Premier League golden boot. Kane also had 11 assists to his name, and his partnership with Heung Min Son proved to be vital for Spurs run in the League.

However, there had been ongoing rumours about the former Norwich City striker unhappy with his stint with the club, and want to move to favourable pastures to win a much evading trophy. Manchester City has been showing the most interest amongst all the clubs, speculatively offering a hefty sum of €150m to sign the talismanic English this summer after the conclusion of Euros.

Kane has given Spurs and the club fans a bit to cheer about, as he added his comments on Tottenham’s new sporting director Fabio Paratici’s recent claims about the club’s primary gaol of retaining Kane this summer.

“Of course as a player you want to be wanted, you want to feel like you’re loved, which I do.

“I haven’t had the chance to talk to any of these people yet. I’m sure we’ll get to know each other after the tournament, have a phone call or two once I get a week or two of holiday.” Kane said in his recent interview to Talksport.

“To get praise from big people from football is great, it gives you confidence, it gives you motivation so of course it’s nice to hear.” Kane further added.

Kane also spoke about Tottenham’s new manager Nuno Espirito Santo, and how he could possibly do good to the club’s long term ambitions, but also repented that he hadn’t got the chance to speak with his new manager yet.

“Whenever a new manager comes in, I guess there’s a level of excitement around the club. Obviously, I’ve not been there and not had any contact with him. I’m away with England now and my full focus is on here. Hopefully, we’ve got a week left.” Kane stated, as he stays fully focused with his current assignment with the national squad.

“He’s a great manager and did a great job at Wolves and got them playing a really good way. Let’s get back and I’m sure we’ll be in contact after the tournament.” the English striker added.

Kane was adjudged the player of the match against Ukraine, netting two goals

However, Kane is frequently in contact with former manager at club level, Jose Mourinho and that they share texts quite often, as he remarked; “He’s great, he’s been texting me as well. It’s common knowledge we have a great relationship and got on really well.

“I really respect him as a manager and person. I wish him all the best at Roma. It’s great to have one of the best managers in the world on your side. I will always respect him and hopefully be in contact with him for the rest of my career.”

Harry has finally found his footing in the European Championships, scoring three in his last two matches, including a brace against Ukraine and will be hoping to inspire England to their first major tournament win in 55 years, with a tough clash against Denmark in the Semis next in hand.
