“Lakers are pathetic” Kendrick Perkins goes hard on Lakers for making ‘terrible’ excuses
Kendrick Perkins and Russell Westbrook
When the LA lakers entered this season with the line-up of Lebron James, Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Anthony Davis they were considered as the primary contender for the NBA championship. But the result is different, LA Lakers are suffering this season despite a strong team. LA Lakers lost their fourth consecutive match against San Antonio Spurs with 28 points.
Lakers’ loss against the Spurs have shocked the NBA fans, to talk about it Kendrick Perkins featured on ESPN’s Get Up and lashed out at LA Lakers by calling them pathetic. He also faulted out the Lakers players except for LeBron James and Russell Westbrook for not showing any fight against the Spurs.
Perkins said, “When you look at the Lakers, they are pathetic. That’s the word we need use when we look at them on the court and on their interviews.” Further, he also added, “You have Russell Westbrook and LeBron James that’s available and you’d think that the Lakers will come out with some type of fight.”

Despite LeBron’s efforts LA Lakers lost their 4 consecutive game
Lakers are right now in the sixth position in the western conference after their fourth consecutive loss with a record of 16-17. Despite LeBron James’ phenomenal performance of 36 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists they were still unable to pull the game.
Its seems that the worst scenario for the Lakers is yet to come because due to Anthony Davis’ knee injury he will miss fours weeks in NBA and five players of the team are still in the Covid safety protocols. Many teams are suffering the same issue of safety protocols and injuries but they are seen to be doing well which puts the question on the gameplay.
LA Lakers are only left with 49 games for the season it will be difficult for them to come back in the league. But let see what management and team come up with for their remaining games.
