Lamar Jackson can’t seem to shake off the bettors who keep complaining about losing Parley. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback made it clear that it’s not his job to make the bettors happy by meeting certain expectations. His focus remains on winning games.
Last season’s beaten AFC conference finalists were early season favorites for another strong campaign, but back-to-back losses dented that expectation. Fans who bet on the Ravens’ success, especially Lamar Jackson performing on MVP level, paid a heavy toll.
The Ravens eventually broke the losing streak by beating the Dallas Cowboys last Thursday. Even that win wasn’t guaranteed until the last seconds of the game. Jackson contributed both with his hands and feet, with 269 all-purpose yards and two combined touchdowns.
However, fans saw the old Lamar Jackson in week 4 when the Ravens threw 2 touchdowns with a quarterback rating of 144.7 as the Ravens won 35-10.
Despite the win, the 2x NFL MVP frequently faces the wrath of unsatisfied bettors because they lost a parley. Jackson, during Wednesday’s presser from the Ravens facility, set the record straight.
Lamar Jackson was asked why he decided to take to social media to push back on fans that complain about their parlays:

Lamar Jackson defends Mark Andrews’ lack of numbers
Jackson did not stop by only calling out the bettors but also defended veteran tight end Mark Andrews, who hasn’t had a catch in the last two games. The 27-year-old claimed that Andrews is contributing in other ways.

All that’s left for the Ravens to start winning games consistently to keep up with the Kansas City Chiefs, who are 4-0 this season. Up next, the Ravens will play against AFC North rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals, who finally won a game last week.
The Bengals defeated the Carolina Panthers and are looking to build on it. According to CBS Sports, the Ravens are -2.5 points favorites to win over the Bengals.
